Would of thought anyone who uses chainsaws ,would appreciate the need to give blood in case they ever need a large amount put back in ,in a hurry.

Sadly, it is forbidden for Brits to give blood here in France.

The view is that we are all contaminated with BSE.

Used to do it regularly but then got malaria and they didn't want mine after that😁 not too surprised, I didn't really want my blood at the time

Absolutely hate needles. But I grin and bare it as it's far less bother than being in the position of needing it.

 

Anyone else registered for bone marrow harvesting? If you register, the chance of you ever donating is massively slim. So you might as well join up. All you need to do is fill out a form and gob in a pot and put it in the post. Anthony Nolan | The UK's blood cancer charity and bone marrow register. If you think having a needle shoved into your bone is something you don't fancy, it might hurt but its not even comparable to being in the position that you need a bone marrow transplant. Get on it! (I don't think you get crisps and biscuits for that one though).
