SRT/Dddrt rope

I'm after a Unicorn.

I love the ease of ascent with SRT using a RW and now a HAAS (brilliant), but often revert to Ddrt for work, or for the whole lot on smaller trees.

My Poison Ivy is a good rope, but is awful at tending through my Pantin.

I've had bad elbow problems in the past, so don't want to go down the 11mm route.

Low stretch and good feel in the hand are what I want, with good performance on mechanicals as well.

Any help welcome.

My elbows and hands started to get sore from a lot of rock climbing and tree climbing, I've started to wear gloves, not like the thin pfanner ones but slightly thicker ones. They help loads with grip which helps take the strain of my elbows and if they are say 2mm thick surely that's the equivalent of buying a thicker rope when you grip? ( I'm probably wrong but sort of made sense to me)

But don't wear them all eh time don't want soft girly hands :)

On the other hand cougar and cougar blue at 11.7 are nice to grip once warn in and fluffy

Cougars a fantastic rope, low stretch, feels nice, knots well everything you need.

Not sure how easy to get hold of it is though. Tree worker I think.
