362-CM, 560 or Echo CS-600

Hey guys looking for a slightly bigger saw than my current money pit 261

 

All the saws in the title are of simliar spec just wanna know your thoughts?

 

not heard a lot about 362s but I thought I'd look into Echo as well, as my small engines mechanic thinks they're underrated and from what I gather this hasn't got a little computer in it telling it what to do!

560 ( I have ) or the Dolmar equivalent .

very few arbtalkers are going to say echo or dolmar. Echo CS-620sx for me tho because it works without fail and can be tuned yourself. The 560 is the least reliable of those you mention; yeah sure it cuts like a nutter, until it breaks down... Only a few of us on here have seen the light!

 

edit: the 600 is no more, a few 610's left, 620sx the one you want.

I was maybe a little blunt tbh, and possibly slightly biased as I've not tried the dolmar.

 

I have a good deal of echo stuff and can fault it one bit.

 

However, the experiences I now have with auto tune have left me with no second thought.

 

Yes, there was some issues initially with them(like any new release) but I believe it's all sorted now. There seem to have been very few negative comments from the 2013 onwards machines.

My 560 is great, would happily buy another but h a ve just bought a dolmar of shavey, 50cc and what a lovely powerful saw, like it alot.

HI IAN my 2014 560 good to so 560 now the best 60cc out there by miles im told thanks jon

The 560xp "owns" that class - it has the lowest weight by some margin, the best performance, and the best handling.

Certainly not the 362, feels heavy and horrible balance,

560 is good when running my old one was a pig look at my thread.

Haven't tried the echo but I would try it!

We've got 362s and 560s - I prefer the 560 but only upto 18'' bar. If you want to pull a 20'' the 362 spanks it.
