My new truck :)

Evening all,

 

Kindly two of my friends took me to Kent yesterday to view a new truck. I was happy with the condition etc of it, and handed the money over.

Which make is it?? Don't they all look alike! I very nearly chopped the 110 in for an Isuzu DMax but just managed to resist. Maybe end FY 14/15 (or after the next long journey in the Landy, which ever comes soonest!)

Currently in the garage again to investigate a major oil leak.

Seriously thinking that i should have paid the extra for a Hilux.

I would think twice before towing with a Navarra Jon. A friends relative ordered a brand new one a few years back and specified a tow bar which was duly fitted by Nissan. After a few months of use the clutch was slipping and upon returning to Nissan, they stated if he was going to be towing he should've asked for the uprated clutch kit to be fitted!! Apparently telling them he wanted a tow bar was not a big enough clue and they would not pay out under warranty.

I pull our caravan with a navara D40 that's chipped tows brilliantly.

I had my 52 plate isuzu since december and the turbo went the other day. Cost 600 for the turbo and was one of only two available and that was from the main dealer. ( the turbo Is obsolete as is the repair kit) hope fully this one will last.

Truck is gutless. You wouldnt know it had a turbo anyway.
