Fence panel shortage ?

I guess everyone is aware of the national shortage of fence panels... My local supplier is taking summer before 6 x 6 panels will become available....

 

Anyone else found this to be the case?

I'd shop around more if I were you, there was a severe local shortage when all the gales were around but not any more and everyone around here has massive stock once more.

Closeboard panels not a problem, 6x6 laps....

Not had a problem all year, until yesterday, went to pick up 5, but was told they'd sold out, but are getting more by the middle of the week.

However, I have been able to pick up work because others have said there is none available, but as said I've been able to get them until yesterday.

Massive shortage I use about 4 suppliers and there all a 6-8 week wait its a pain in the arse!!

Yea there is a shortage the two suppliers I use have a 5 to 6 week waiting list. Still bloody waiting!!!

i have not been able to get fence panels for a while, when they did come in to where i buy them, they where put in the yard but sold to members of the public because they where willing to pay more.

 

i have a long chat with the manager / owner of the company, now when they come in, he said he would sort somthing special out. after he looked back over my account with them for the last 6 or so years

 

customers keep phoning me, and i say i can get others but they want the ones i normaly use.
