How do you remove van sign writing.

I use hot air gun to to soften then peel off , for glue I spread light cutting compound on it let it soak in then rub it off with duster.

i used a hot air gun to get the vinyl off, then i used the resin remover i use to clean the saw handles after alot of pine cutting.

We had the reflective stuff and when we came to sell the van at 3 years old had to respray it the stuff just does not come off.

Hot air gun the vinyl off then use "meguires quick clay bar" it has worked on mine before it's gets all that sticky resin crap of as well that every arb truck seems to collect

Hot water from the kettle to melt the adhesive then I used petrol to clean any bits left over . I have used this method on both Red and white trucks and the petrol did not damage the paintwork .

I saw them using a wallpaper steam cleaner at a vehicle prep area in an auction once , it seemed to be working really well

I have used a steam wallpaper stripper and hot air gun but prefer to use autoglym glue and tar remover, isnt cheap, but you get what you pay for

You can buy some stuff from Electrolube called LRM it's designed fro removing labels and the sticky residue
