I'm looking on expanding my saw collection and want an old husky capable of taking a fair size bar (preferably over 20") but can't really afford the new stuff! Does anyone recommend any old models in particular?

Thanks

HI MATE my dad years ago had a 61 but it looks to me the 288 sound good thanks jon

046 is also a very nice saw, hark at me swearing , lol, 064 also a good saw as is 066, prob having a hard time finding one because they are good and folk like to keep hold of them, some of the older jonsered and dolmars are great saws but getting parts for them now is hard,id stick with husky as you can easily get parts

Thanks for all your help guys.. I was also interested in an 046 magnum but I seem to be quite hard pressed to find one? Is there a reason for this?

I wouldn't worry about the Magnum bit - American marketing hype, but the 046 and 064 are both good saws with good parts availability.
