Burgled again

Hawkes Trees

Just wanted to let everyone know we were burgled at our premises last night, it was a very well planned raid and they got just about everything useful, chippers survived. We lost an MS660,MS261, 200T and all out rigging gear and climbers kit. All machines are engraved "Hawkes Trees" and CO9 4HP. They are also smart watered. Seems rife around us at the minute with a lot of farms getting done too

Sorry to hear that.. What part of the country are you in ? Really right now I have had enough of the uk it's got beyond a joke, even if the police had there hands untied I don't think it would stop the volume of thefts in are gear ,they won't go near certain elements of are society.

Possibly the same people, reasonably close together - think someone needs to level the playing field on this one - too much going on a the moment and not too many arrests.

I saw outboards were being targeted along the Suffolk coast - why can't these low lifes sod off and go earn a living......legally!

between 6pm and 6am presumably during the night. A van containing our special friends was seen and reported sniffing round on the Friday. It was a very well planned job, they came across a field in a large 4x4, opened my very secure shed door using what looks like a Fire Brigade jaws of life or something similar, cut open the side of the steel tool locker on the truck and emptied it. The police haven't mentioned if anyone else was done in the area.

I'm afraid our recent experience with Norfolk & Suffolk Constabulary is not commendable. I would imagine that if you are on the Essex/Suffolk border you'll be experiencing a similar 'lack of enthusiasm'! SNAFU seems to be the old-fashioned quote applicable to your situation and I'm afraid it won't get better either. I'm sorry to be an old misery!
