Sums it up!!

 

Don't soldiers sign up voluntarily?

If you were offered £300,000 a week to do some sort of sport, would you decline because it is too much?

 

It is outrageous but until sky televise war with pay per view soldiers are 'worth' so much less.

I can never understand why people get so upset about what others earn, using words like "obscene".

 

He is payed out of the revenue his skill's have generated, you could argue that soldiers, politicians, etc, generate no revenue, so they are the ones that are over paid.

We pay his wages with our sky subscriptions. Season tickets merchandise buying. The revenue rooney creates man utd his wage is cheap. I dont begrudge him at all. For man utd to lose him and replace him with same calliber crowd pulling player would have cost millions. Good buisness in my opinion

All you got to do is stop buying newspapers with sports pages, don't go to football matches and don't buy anything that he advertises.

 

Done that all my life, doesn't seemed to have helped though.
