10 inch plastic gas main pipe (strapped onto chipper output chute) to get chippings into back of defender while the tipper was being fixed.

Didn't look professional but no mess at all - just a bit of carnage on the tinwork in the landy

A new shape 5p coin to seal a radiator compression connection when it failed spectacularly late one saturday evening. Couldn't find a stop end or blank and didn't fancy paying for a plumber at 10.30pm.

 

Used my belt on a mates van when his exhaust fell off the rear rubbers on the M6. Wrapped it round the chassis and exhaust and carried on our journey. Think he sold it 6 months later and I never did get that belt back......
