We've had Denka DL28 for about 8 years

 

It was used about 5/6 times a year

 

Couple of years ago we realised that due to its design it wasn't being utilised as often as it could have been.

 

As such, we have now gone down the route of hiring in more suitable machines when required.

Hi Kevin ,we have owned our own MEWP for 16 years now ,before that we hired machines our current machine is a Ruthmann TB270 ,27 m on a 3.5 ton chassis and is used on 70% of our jobs and as a tool carrier.

Had one for a few years

But to b honest it just sat around rotting away most of the time. It was a Simons on a 7,5 ton flat bed Iveco

It got nicked a few years back and I never bothered to replace it

I hire in a hinowa hi-lift 13.5. Great little machine as I dont really need anything bigger

hire the best way to go then pick the machine that's best for the job

not make do with the one you bought

too many different types as they say horses for courses
