Do you know it was the developer?

Could just as easily be the owner of the new house, nasty trees making the garden dark and all that?

It's a brand new house, new owner has only been there 3 months and he loves the trees, they are the edge of a woodland and shield the house from winds

Just on this house as it's newer than the rest so presume it was a different developer.

There's about three that are ring barked but the whole woodland is a bit dire, apparently the owner of the woodland used to keep pigs in it, he applied to fell some trees and was refused so he smeared marmite all around the base of the trees and the pigs stripped the bark off the majority of them.

I knew the tale from this wood so was expecting to see said stripped bark and was surprised to actually see cuts
