i cut the saleable firewood out and then put the small stuff through the branch logger

 

+1. We have a TR70 that we are trialling different ways of using it. Very impressed with it so far but will have to wait to see how the product is received. (For those with a boiler it must be the way forward). Best bit is speed of processing and the low revs that it operates at.

Hopefully once there are enough of the machines about,the fuel can be given some kind of a brand name,cos I don't really know what to call the stuff.One idea I had was choppedstix

 

I call the produce from our TR70 Rustick kindling :001_smile:

 

As already said some form of boiler to work with the produce would be great. Think a top loader would be best.

Much as I like the TR70 I think you were wise to buy the bigger machine as it just makes the end product be small logs instead of sticks.

 

I am planing to talk with a local stove maker to see if they would be interested in building a stove/boiler with the sole aim of burning branch loggings. I run the workshop stove on them but the problem I find is due to the air circulation between them the whole lot tries to go up at once but the air supply system does not manage to supply enough air to do.
