Cheap tipper buddy , get the ball rolling for you , no shovelling out chip if say u hire a chipper , no dragging brush etc off .

Go for something that won't break the bank but will earn you money , save as much as you can and remember Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will your business .

All the best buddy :)

Spot on advice from all you guys! Appreciate the vote of confidence, and your own advice and what you've all done to get the ball rolling!

Amazing what you can buy if you look a little deeper aswell!

Are their any good websites out there worth having a look for chipper tippers? Something that won't burst the bank and gets those Saturday jobs rolling in haha!

Thanks again for all comments and help given!

Look at buying privately and save ££'s on used dealer prices for trucks, Take someone who knows there way around a truck so you don't get your fingers burnt, There are bargains out there.

I don't even know what that means.

If the gross weight exceeds 3.5 tons you need a tacho for business use, be it pickup, van or 4x4 with a trailer.

So if you have a truck that can weigh a total of 3.5 tons laden you can't put any trailer on it at all without a tacho. Even if both truck and trailer are empty.

There are exemptions but not in the case being discussed.
