A hunting camping and fishing section would be good

I am strongly considering expanding on the whole off topic section of the website, possibly allowing members to host their own forum on whatever their topic of interest/hobby might be. If I were to do this, it would have to be a case that you had to manually subscribe to an off topic forum for new posts to appear in the todays post feature. By default they wouldn't show

I do find the interface on the series 2 owners' club The Series 2 Club Forum - Index a bit easier. I particularly like the way that once logged on I can click on a button to reformat the screen to show only the threads I have contributed to. I know there are ways to do this on Arbtalk but they all require quite a few clicks, which is particularly fiddly on an iPhone. I have a tendency to forget the titles of threads and then not notice they have been updated, which is annoying if you ask a question, get an answer and then don't find it. I know David Humphries put a reply up to my question about formative pruning work as I saw it on the iPhone but I can't find it to thank him for the reply!

I also find the parent board/child board interface quicker to navigate with less scrolling - I know there are sub-forums but the horizontal layout decreases the number of lines.

Perhaps rather than focus on whats needed, we should mention what we like.

I like:

the lack of swearing

The fact there are other old farts on here as well

The fact that the younger members are also mature

The Sugari girl but we dont need to go any further plenty of other sites for that.

The ejector seat Steve has fitted recently for the trolls and idiots.

As has been said I would like to see some stickies for the regular questions like how many logs in a bag and is hornbeam any good.

I would like to see more posts from the gals not in a pervy sort of way but they have a different view point and do make up half the population.

Apart from that I think its great I have been hanging around for 5 years and still never cut a tree down

Hi
