Hailo ladders aren't in the same league as Zarges or Youngman

Many more recommendations for Hailo than the above!

Half the price and the adjustable foot which is invaluable in a garden, especially at the larger lengths? I don't doubt Youngman are good, but at twice the price and no adjustable foot it's a non starter for me.

My Hailo only 'died' because I was an idiot and forgot to strap it :blushing:

We've had a set of 10 rung Hailo's for the last five years. Ladders, steps, adjustable foot.

Absolutely brilliant.

Got the 15 rung set but too cumbersome for my liking.

The adjustable foot is the best thing for me but the catches are very flimsy.

We also have Zarges and they're better built but no adjustable foot.

The 10 ring set are knackered and will be getting more Hailo's.

Surely any ladder of that size will be cumbersome? IE. if you need the height, you live with the weight for that job.

This is why I want a tripod set too.

Agree with the majority of comments. Had Youngmans in the past. Hailo better overall.

Like DN22 Gardening have 10 rung. There is a dilemma now though. Went to buy replacement today and they no longer make 10 rungs. Go lighter and lower or longer and heavier. Pity as 10 rung just right compromise.

Guess DN22 you went for the 8-9 rung as you have the longer rung already ?

How are yours Doobin ?
