If your thinking of getting an old 35 her is a couple of things to look for. 1 make sure she starts easy 2 make sure the pto clutch is not stuck 3 check the hydraulic pump isn't weak (normally on old loaders) 4 make sure there is no cracks in the block. Most of the other bits and bobs can be rectified with a small box of tools and a little time. I use a guy called Patrick at furgiland for my bits he can get them out to you next day and he knows what he's on about. Hope this helps.

The three cylinder usually starts OK, the four cylinder just won't!

35 is the same money as an International/David Brown and only a quarter of the tractor. Don't buy one for work.

Thanks, that's useful. Seems I have a lot to learn!

I'm assuming eBay is not the best place to buy? They seem fairly pricey on there. I will go and have a look for farm sales etc. near me.

bit pf a time to go but jacobs and hunt have a large farm sale in april first saturday at west meon nr winchester. nr you in march southern auctions shaftsbury loads go for sale need a half day befre sale to have a good gander and see whats in your budget. if any that one would be the one but take someone who knows tractors to give those interested in a good looking over as there are some duffs in sale
