Spore free eh?! Ridiculous comment.

Maybe they're worried about the movement of disease from place to place as in chalara and just want to reassure there customers that any spores will have been killed off in the kiln.

No need to Kiln kill spores, I believe Monsanto do a pretty good job at killing everything off in the outdoor environment. (But don't quote me on that for fear of being awarded more arbtalk naughty points!)

note: And I haven't used any swear words i this comment..... or mentioned a certain Secretary of State for the Environment.

Peace n Love to all. x

Correct. As well as federal movement restrictions to be avoided, the US is paranoid about "mold" (i.e. mould) in houses.

Notice they have the best processors in the business, Multitek! Gish Logging are the sole largest producer in the USA & run Four 2040xp processors (24" capacity). Visited a site in the Uk in December with one of these & very impressive.

Crappy looking stuff though cant imagine people taking stuff like that in this country. Get complaints if every other log does not have a piece of holly and a robin stuck to it over here.
