Ok

Im keen on having ago at an exhaust mod

ive got some old exhausts to practice on

any info or advice is welcome (ie what tube/ brasing rods/ etc ) Thank you

The tube is any steel tube that you can lay your hands on that looks about right, the brazing rod I use is a silver solder NOT lead tin but silver brazing rod with a melting point of circa 650 deg C so I can use a plimbers lamp. You will also need a flux!

If it is a propane/butane torch, make sure you get a lower melting point silver solder - if it is mapp gas, you will be fine with any silver solder. 650- 680 works, higher and you use a lot of gas:thumbdown:

Get metre lengths from b and q around £6 depending on what size :sneaky2:

Its not the cheapest but its new so welds fine with no contaminents.
