Anybody know how to disable the limiter? Have been felling on the highways tonight, ringing up an ash.

 

It took a few minutes for the autotune to get its crap together. Goes like stink! But under 10" and the limiter kicks in (14.2k rpm), after that it drops to a manageable speed, about 15-18" and it drops to the usual 8-12k rpm. Not much fun having logs catapulted towards you though! I'm surprised how strong it runs, as I was quite conservative with the porting compared to the Americans, but I suppose that's because they're running 28". At least the autotune means I don't have to piss around with a tach!

You're not working it hard enough.:lol:

 

Bigger sprocket and lower rakers .:thumbup:

 

Which chain and sprocket are you running ?

Think the limiter is the blue coil . Dont know if any of the U.S. guys run with a black coil ?

 

The black coils were usually from earlier models before the limiters became widespread or were aftermarket ones.

 

Shame this software can't disable the limiter...or can it:sneaky2:
