Looking at getting a new helmet, ive used the petzl vertex and have done for many years but want a change. Mainly use it for climbing, was thinking of getting the stein kask. Any thoughts/opinions

looks a good skid lid, when protecting your melon, vision and hearing always try go for the best.

 

quick tip... the clear visor as well as the mesh face guard helps against sap splattering, that stuff really stings when you get it in your eyes when it splattered through the mesh guard off your saw.

 

I've got the stein super plasma and am getting the visor ASAP

I had the Kask, and went back to the new Petzl Vertex best industrial helmet out there, bar maybe the Protos if you want something fancy dancy.

I have the stein with the peltor muffs/visor and I find the visor sits on my face. maybe down to my head size, but im looking to change to the msa attachments. other than that i find it sits comfortable on my head however id perhaps go for a Petzl next

I've had vertex good then the latest petzl one that's got husky logo on it that's a step back, treated my self to a Protos very impressed very comfy great vision if you can afford one get one.
