Coconut milk - works in tea and coffee... but then some may not like the slightly altered taste - works for me!

once you have given it a go there doesnt seem to be much pain - quite the opposite - everything works better and if you lapse a bit as most of us do from time to time you start feeling crap again going back on the old foods.

I was open to the psycological arguements where it might just be that someone is motivated and therefore feels better, but have been doing it for a good few months now and think I can discount that- in my case at least.

Dont really miss a lot of things I thought I would.

Very true. The modern grain-based diet is poison.

Oats aren't too bad,Its the way wheat has been bred for high yields , protein and gluten that is bad for our diet.

 

I've lost 2 stone since April , by cutting out the Dohnuts,cookies,muffins and alcohol.Also reduced the sugar,bread,pasta potatoes and rice and replaced with extra veg.

I eat more fish and nuts which I like ,but I won't give up milk,cream and butter.

Ok mate, been a bad week with sickness and shits but no bread, pasta, rice or processed crap, the wife is doing it aswell not feeling any benefits yet and today I feel totally knackered with NO energy but thats the tummy bug I think.

 

We have cut out takeaways and sugar so will see what happens!

We have almond milk all the Time as our little lad can't have milk. I have just read all this thread and am gonna give some elements a try.
