Paleo diet for arborists

Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone who has contributed positively to this thread. I finally got around to weighing myself today and I've dropped around 15-16 kilos in 3-4 months. I've incorporated a couple of naughties such as rice and full cream milk in my diet but otherwise I'm doing pretty well and, contrary to most other diets, have found it quite easy to follow the longer I get in to it.

Good effort mate, wish I had the willpower to do the same! Like my bread and beer too much ha ha.

I just replaced the beer with wine bud. It's the sugar and bread that are the real killers. Starting to make news in NZ now too. Paleo is becoming big news and sugar free even bigger.

I was exactly the same mate. Bread and Crisp were my downfall. Give it a month though and you'll be amazed how much you don't miss it!! I've lost over a stone and a half in less that 2 months without excercising, just cutting out crap food!!:001_smile:

Well done lads. Im down to a 32 inch waste, weight varies but thats ok... lost at least a stone. Got my Dad into it since he's been visiting, and I hope he can stick to it, hes feeling the benefits already.

For anyone and everyone this book is a most excellent read... Primal Body, Primal Mind: Beyond the Paleo Diet by Nora T. Gedgaudas
