Volkswagen Amorak or maybe something different!

I can vouch for the Ranger,Hilux and mitzi because we run them and by and large they are all good with the Mitzy being the most car like, there is VW

Amorak that belongs to one of the horsey brigade in the yard and I was having a really good look at it. Its very plasticky for one thing and the steel panels are painfully thin, as nice as it looks I dont think it would last long in the hands of our lot.

Bob

Cheers Bob. As much as I like (love) the Amorak I agree with you that it's more of a car than a commercial vehicle. With it also being the most expensive on the market!!!! I believe it looks nice, but it's down to practicality and versatility rather than looks.

Although at the moment I am only a subby and don't usually take my truck to jobs, I usually only take my climbing kit and saw. It's going to be more for pleasure and fun although it will serve a purpose and I can continue using it for my own small jobs.

Will! One or two things about this and other threads you have been involved in give me slight concerns. Firstly how does a seventeen year old afford a 30k motor? Next you say you are going to test drive a new motor, how are you going to do this when you ain't past your test? You have also spoke about trailers, something you won't be able to tow even when you pass your test.....I could go on......but I'll await your response.

I understand you can be concerned! I'm 18 and my test is on the 27th. I've discussed with the company and they are happy for me to test drive it in Febuary. Also I will be doing my trailer test once I have passed, as I will be in the right frame of mind without any bad habits. :) I am not going to be able to afford to buy a 30k truck out right, but have looked into finance options. (Although the truck I am interested in is £15,000 and from savings and a small family loan I will be able to afford it). as you are probably thinking it is, I can assure you nothing at all is dodgy!
