I'd be more worried about the repair costs after the 5 years whats the life span of the kiln, cost +20% I think it was that I read the other day.

soo, whats the biggest drawback, normal wear and tear is down to logpro.

I think I got an email from you about this and instantly binned it on the assumption that if it's too good to be true it always is. There has to be something for you in it; that's a whole lot of gear your as much as giving away, what's the catch.

put 500t / year through it, and its paid for in 18mth. nice, but can you get one registered for rhi. i dont think so.

I have been reading this thread over the last few days as well as the one Iain posted a few months ago with some feedback on the idea and have been baffled at the negativity everyone has given it.

Logpro is a company not a charity so of course they will be making money out of it, but for me its perfect. I dont have £50k tucked away or the facility to get finance on £50k so if someone is offering me a kiln for a small startup outlay of £5k with that being paid back to me in 5 years and no monthly finance to pay is a complete no brainer.

If your doing 100 tons a year its probably not for you and if your doing 1000 tons a year you can probably already afford to buy one anyway. There are plenty of firewood producers this will help.
