I'm not sure what to think when people who have a well paid full time job then run an arb business on the side, I find it a bit cheeky unless the person has been through what most of us have been through years at college ect then I kind of think think fair play to them, they've took advantage of the great position they're in. I'm slightly annoyed that they'll be be taking work off full time arb businesses. Just my 2 pence

Btw I'm a full time freelance climber

If someone's got the drive and vision to hold two businesses together and make the most of life good on em, life's to short to be bitter about other people's success

CJM dont be so narrow minded people have second jobs for various reasons mostly to get by, i personally am a trained plaster but down here in cornwall its hard to get work ' full time' i went to uni then college i'm qualified and certified and insured id love to be in the position of full time arb work. but as for stealing work of full time arb businesses i call it competition.

I wasn't being narrow minded, I know people need two jobs to get by but that wasn't what I said. I said people who have well paid full time job then run an arb business on the side.

On the flip side and to go off the dog eat dog world comment, if these guys with their well paid jobs stopped trading as tree surgeons maybe this would give us a few more full time jobs in our industry. Food for thought
