only an idjut would be using his saw round the back off his legs & more important you shouldnt be using a saw with defective chain brake:scared1:

i think climing big conifer hedges is the riskiest for cutting yourself, i have been in positions with the saw jammed behind my legs, small branches knocking chain break off, and climbing positions you would never be in working in a tree. i used to just wear type a because the allround were hellish and i couldnt move, but since finding stretch airs i dont find it a problem:001_smile:

as soon as a saws chainbrake stops working it should immediately be put out of action, and made clear to any possible users that there is a problem.

Not at all, I will not sue myself and under the law I don't have the same "duty of care" to myself that I have to an employee.

what law is that

hope you don,t mean legislation:sneaky2::sneaky2::sneaky2:

Type c trousers are a product of pencil pushers. With the advent of the SIPS it is possible to have the required flexibility and heat dissapation whilst still offering a high level of protection, therefore MUCH safer in the greater scheme of things.

:confused1: So in the event of HSE prosecution YOU don't think the "law" is involved?????????:confused1:

How do you have a prosecution without LAW?????????????????:confused1:
