Looking to buy a decent set of gardening tools, such as:

Loppers

Secateurs

Spade

Fork

Rake

How

Shovel

What are the best brands or tools to look out for?

Also any good storage options to keep them tidy and out of the way in the garage?

Thanks

Jack Mitchell

As per the posts above. Fiskars for blades, Wolf-Garten for a multitool system and different handles. FR Jones are cheapest. You will still need to spend about £300 for a decent set though!

Bulldog fork, hoe, spade, shovel, rake. They have a couple of ranges available.

Felco No.2 secateurs

Bahco bypass loppers.

Not keen on fiskars and wolfgarten personally but I know a few who like them.

I'd pick up some old Elwell tools; fork, spade, hoes etc. You won't buy better modern stuff and they're a pleasure to use. Felco secateurs.

As for secateurs FELCO is the way to go, bought 2 pairs yesterday from Does and they were £37 each ( they were the cheapest). The wolfgarten multi system is a good tool, plenty of different attachments for garden dutys.
