Thank Dan, Never made a rattle, assuming it has a hollow in the top end for the rattle bits?

 

 

Mendip, Have you got a budget? What sort of size do you want to turn?

Andy yes. Spigot at the top. Do the handle sand down. Part off hollow out with a tenon to put both back together. I used lentals as its all i could find at 2300 last night lol.

The other type i did took a little thinking for the rings as im still nee to turning and never done it before.

What type of paint did you use for the black one, I like the contrast!

 

Here's one that's waiting to be oiled, wood is pear by the way!

Beautiful hollow forms!

 

I would like to start doing some hollow forms, have you got any tips that would help?

 

Sorry for so many questions all, fairly new to turning myself!
