Did it need to ? . It must of netted millions over the years ?

Can't ague with that  but I heard him interviewed about doing Star Wars and he had clearly had not enjoyed it. Apparently George Lukas is very controlling so everything is scripted down to the last detail. The only person he could not fully control was a chap by the name of Harrison Ford who tended to do his own thing. I wonder what became of this Ford chap?

Never seen any of them from start to finish. TBH, the genre doesn't light my fire.

One "Star" film I did enjoy and found it emotional and thought provoking was about a spaceship that carried plants, trees and stuff from a dead earth. I seem to remember that the humans on board left it with a small robot to care for the plants forevermore!

If my memory is still working the robots were called huey and doey:001_smile:

Most of his Films are pretty good. He is a selective actor and only does what he thinks will be good. Has made a few errors though. According to the geeks on the web.( I agree)Han Solo is what made star wars work. Seat of the pants winging it. Like good tree work. Instead the pantom menace. Everything was in control and going to work out fine. I thought Liam Neeson looked positively bored delivering his dialogue and Hayden ( a nobody) look as me Christianson was trying too hard I reckon. As Harrison Ford once famously is supposed to of turned round to Lucas and said

"You can type S... , but you can't say it.

Another interesting fact about Ford is when shooting Raiders of the lost ark the sword fight scene were he just pulls his gun and shoots the guy, was the last of many takes, because he had diahorea and couldn't hang about long enough so he improvised.:thumbup1:

Hopefully Disney will tame the excess action, bring in unknown actors that are good and give it a story. Hopefully.
