Here's a deal for you - buy some of these new Sugi low vibe ones... use for a good while then post a review upon this thread with at least 5 pictures...

I've used them and found them very good, loverly and warm, excellent anti vibe and.... they are machine washable!

But I've not used them day in day out for chainsaw use...

After you've updated this thread with pics and review I'll send you another pair free!

Products for the category: Forestry equipment

But - they only come in a medium size! So that could scupper the deal...

I'm in, I've got girly hands. Get a bit of a tingle after a while on the clearing saw with Oregon, arbortec saw gloves and the thin pfanner gloves. I have to wear saw gloves on Fc land but they get used for everything so never spend more that £10ish on a pair. A pair would last me about 3 months normally if there's not too much mud and water involved in what I'm doing.

Just ordered a pair of your Sugi gloves Rob. Not bothered about your special deal or anything. I'll give them a good run for their money. Always on the look out for a better pair.

The orange ones from arco with the black rubber grips are my preferred working gloves. But I do like to use chainsaw gloves if the weather is suitable. I also suffer from the stihls wearing quickly on the inside.

If they are no use I can always using them for directing traffic or landing helicopters.:thumbup1: bright!

Ok, I'm getting peed off with buying new chainsaw gloves far too frequently. I didn't mind when I had a crappy saw and bought cheap ones, but then I got some decent kit and graduated to Stihl's gloves at about £25 a pair.

Problem is, the leather side rapidly gets holey - they just don't last. The chainsaw protection side is fine, but the grip side is far too flimsy.

Can anyone suggest something hardier from experience, please?

HI MATE i have a pair arbortec at 1550 xt there very good mate thanks jon

I use the Sugi glove Rob is suggesting . There is no protection on the backs but in all the years doing it I have never needed it . I find them to be very good . Some rubber cushioning under the leather palms and sorta breathable backs making them better for summer .
