Had a licra clad push iron fool dodge inside our Tm area to avoid stopping at the red light, unfortunately the lights were hold reds as I was dropping a tree right across both lanes ( quiet back) rd. Luckily for all I spotted him and scared the poo out of him by yelling all forms of profanity at him! And left him in no dought what he had done wrong and what could have happened, not sure who was shaking more him from the telling or me from giving it!

we had an old lady today walk round the barriers around the little coned walk way we had set out and walk down the white line of a busy road not a care in the world while we were chipping we shouted her to watch out as there was a car driving right behind her she just smiled and cracked on down the road gobsmacked is an understatement

Seems this is a universal problem, public are completely stupid and seem to be illiterate or need glasses! especially the ones with babies in buggies that are on mobile phones!!! I leave branches strategically placed so they 'cant' step into danger zone, and just have someone who is soley responsible for keeping area safe as well as the barrier tape etc.

I have acquired six nice bright yellow gas board barriers today, legally too

Should stop rogue cyclists penetrating the work zone

working near stokesley on a quite and signal track lane for a few days, it started with a full road closure, signed diversion, row of cones ect , but by the end, then with tape hedge to hedge, 20m further gas board type barriers hedge to hedge, 20m further landrover across road, in the hedges and they still came through carrying they bikes over the bash :confused1::lol:

I have actually asked people if the are illiterate, when they say no then I ask what trouble they had reading the signs :confused1: one guy said there were no signs so I picked one up and asked well what the hells this then? he then ran off

you left out the bit where you cocked back the sign and went for a permanent imprint on their face lol

Man this problems global, while doing a clear fell we had tape and two sets of signs and vehicles blocking a road and the council had signs informing of the felling. Big hangers were in some trees and some woman had to walk through all of that plus over two trees we had felled to tell us we were ruining her favourite walk. When we told her it was dangerous to be there she replies "ive done alot of gardening im well aware of the risks". WTF?
