Kiln dried Ash logs

Hi all! Anybody interested in Kiln dried Ash logs? I have a container arriving to UK on Wednesday this week. 10"logs, MC~20%. £165+VAT per 2m crate.

I presume that is 2 cubic metres, not 2m cubed?

What is the RRP per m3 for kiln dried wood delivered ?

A guy I know sells it for £115 per cubic metre dumpy bag plus a fiver delivery and a fiver for the bag.

 

Premium Woods offer is for a stacked crate so I would have thought out of a 2 cubic metre stacked crate you should get just short of three loose pick up loads - but I've yet to try it to prove my theory!!

The dimensions of the 2 metre crates are 2350X1160X850cm..... So if you work that out its 2.1371 cubic metres and on the website they are stacked nearly in the crates so I'm guessing it will be atleast 3 loose cubic metres

To give you an idea we had just about 2.2 loose cubic metres out of a 2 cubic metre stacked from premium wood.

Whoever says you can get 3 loose cubic metres has either never tried it and is just picking numbers out of the air or are filling builders bags.

The wood is very good quality and they are a great company to deal with.

My guess seems to be incorrect then ash 👍
