Not sure how recruitment works for the JW's in the UK, however here stateside the push is constant and unrelenting. To each their own as far as I am concerned, however I was forced to draw the line nearly Two years ago and other than the audit today to see if I was still on the do not visit list I have not been converted, I mean visited since:sneaky2:.

When I get those telephone companies telling me they can reduce my phone charges I sometimes say (in a country yokel accent):-

 

"Oim zorry, Oi dont av a telyfone yer"

 

There is usually a few seconds of silence before they put the phone down.

Keep getting calls from consumer lifestyle,they wont take not interested for an answer, googled them and found there number, then put it on all the abumlance chasing and ppi sites I could find

I was brought up as a JW, left when I was 30, I did more than my fair share of door knocking, can't say I miss it.

 

On the plus side, because I quit I'm considered an "Apostate", so they never knock on my door

Got a call from them the other week and told the caller I was happy with my lifestyle and was not changing at the moment with that he put the phone down.

A previous employee is a J/W, a fantastic bloke in every respect. I personally can't get my head round the whole religious thing but hey ho if everyone was the same it would be very boring

They are mostly very good people, just very misguided.
