The one I have is red too, but has no guide wheels at the ends. The label finally fell of a few months ago, after about 20 years, it was made by Oregon.

I use it for my milling chains. You'd have to hoist the mill up with an engine crane to sharpen the chain on the bar:001_rolleyes:

Typical! There is no identifiable markings on my one! I got it via the now defunct A&F warehouse in Sussex. Penny AB is now (or was last time I had dealings) at Richmond Groundcare. Richmonds Contact us. She is your best bet there. At least you have a photo now to show what you are after. One of the suppliers on here must be able to sort something out??

 

I recall it was expensive (about the £50.00 mark??) for what it is but I did not have the required bits or time to make my own.
