What do you charge to hire processor.

Jim can you post me out a couple of lifting wedges if i pay over the phone first what purpose to they serve?

 

Pop me a PM or email so I dont forget on Monday.

They fit on top of the normal bar, because it has quite a large sprocket to drive the chain on the saw motor if it wasnt on there would be a gap between the chain and the top of the bar.

They usually last for ages (atleast a year) but I have bent one before now doing something silly with bent timber! Probably worth having a spare just in case.

 

I was out last weekend for £180 for the processor, +me, +tractor

That is strong money in our area there is quite a lot doing it so it drives the price down.

 

yeh im not the cheapest, but then i dont want to be. i need £100 operator, £100 processor and £100 for tractor. Doesnt leave much left over to cover anything else! And i wouldnt let processor out on it owns.

Ben. How much (processor friendly) round timber would you expect to process in eight hours?

 

I know there are many things to take into account. I'd just like a rough idea.
