I was talking about the woman in the OP.

 

Threats and intimidation, both implied and direct, are the standard MO of these detritus. Anyone wishing to assign blame to a vulnerable old person should hang there head in shame. We will all become a little old, doddery and vulnerable, if not downright senile.

 

I think what many of you are missing is that a lot of these old folk were raised in a different generation, when you took what you were told at face value and a man's word was his bond. They are too trusting, and that is not their fault.

 

Scum should hang.

my late father who was a master builder and knew things building got a firm in to do him a shower room by the time i found out nearly finished. talk about a bodge job. since have found they used flexi hose as the wastewater for the shower so it leaked bringing ceiling down. he paid them jokers 4k for there efforts. so its nots just the caravan nomadic travelers who rip the older generation off.

Your right mate. My mum (who at the time) was in the early stages of Alzheimer's was nearly caught out. She had signed on the dotted line for a new 15k kitchen. It was only when my brother saw the paperwork that we managed to put a stop on things. This was a supposedly reputable company.
