Had mine about a month now and no serious problems . Don't like being run right out of juice but that is not a regular occurrence . Needs to be revved hard to reset the A/T if you do . Got a bent A.V. spring at the rear underside . Not sure how it happened but does not seem to affect the handling of the saw at all . All in all a I think its way better than a 201 and slightly better than a 200 so win win for me .

Same thing happened to mine. The Spring bent also the tool strop attachment broke. You know how you'd catch the saw by the strop, if you miss, the snatch does that to the mounting. The shop replaced both parts free. I shortened my tool strop and it hasn't happened since. Power wise, a little bit more than MS200T. Balance is perfect. Feels lighter than a MS200T ( a bit). Needs chocking to start more often. The guarding on the exhaust is better, I can get away with clipping it my harness with the engine running - don't think I could have done that with A MS220T. Overall I'm happy - hoping it turns out to be less temperamental than MS200T. (I didn't even consider the new sthil)

Its good .... Can't say more than that sold the main 200t and I'm not disappointed one bit.

I took the spark screen out the other day and I'm sure its more powerful now

First thing you have to do with a new husky!! I don't know why they put them in for the uk market....?

Regarding the choke, I was told to just flick the choke on then off when warm, don't pull it with the choke on, just flick it on then off, then pull, works well for me.

Same as huck ...it ain't rocket science when you get used to it... Any saw will have its Querks but we are all conditioned to the 200t and disappointed with the 201 ( well most ) I'm not disappointed with my t540 one bit !!
