What's Your Priority with Boots?

long life way before comfortability, i wear stihl specials ... they make my feet bleed but they have lasted. You just have to have rock 'ard feet! wouldnt mind some lighter boots though.

 

and to comply to the "100 quid trainers" thing, I'd rather be wearing me boots, all my trainers have holes in, they only last a few months.

Supple, comfort, decent arch protection. Interested in Fortecs point about feeding the boots, I do mine religiously, yet they last no longer whether treated or not. I could not return to the clown boots that were the only choice a few years back, I'm on my feet all day, dry warm feet make me happy, comfy boots make me smile. Its surprising how many tolerate bad footwear, and cause all sorts of physical damage to their bodies.

Trouble with putting longevity at the top of the list is that the most hard wearing of boots are also the most uncomfortable, least sensitive and least attractive, which is of course very important. A man who cares about what he looks like will care about what a tree looks like. Don't deny your feminine sides chaps.

The most hard wearing boots are made from concrete. So says my Italian business man friend of ours.

My main thought is with the look, they must look cool, I dont care if my feet feel like they have been submitted to some sort of chinese foot shrinking torture aslong as they look cool.
