Low emmission zone go inside the m25 and its a £100 a day for smelly vans. Comming to a city near u soon as well. Not a problem if you dont go into town but when you come to sell you 20k cruiser it will have a limited market.

I have an old Td5 van which needs replacing so in exactly the same position. I am looking at riping the seats out of the year 2000 family Amazon and turning it into a van. 24k cheaper than a new Disco 4 same on fuel and still more reliable.

We took the seats out, blanked out windows and removed seatbelts from our land cruiser and registered it as a Van. Cheaper insurance, and tax efficient.

Also cheaper and more comfortable then a LR.
