Bell end here! I've got the red Zermatts. Cracking for everything except in the snow, feet are freezing!!

Solid boot, great ankle support, but they'd definately a spiking boot, lethal on wet big timber, so basically a good ground boot lol!

I've never heard a bad word about Hiax!

I have a range of boots.

Light solomons for non chainsaw, Zermatts for tree killing, Elton for summer and neoprene wellies for the wet.

Oh and jallatte riggers for Flymo Ing and warm day stealies.

I have two pairs of Meindles but wanted something harder wearing on the soles as I spend more time on the ground these days. They didn't have the Zermatts in my size so went for the phantoms. They're a little cooler on the feet than the Meindles and don't mould to your foot but otherwise, so far so good. Comfy and waterproof. They're only a couple of months old though so only time will tell.

Has anyone tried the Klima AIR Zermatts?

Got a pair . Good climbing/spiking boot . Every body ( except Steve Blair ) seem to think they are too hot for summer use so best in the winter . Found them a little rigid for ground walking but no body else seems to have found that so just me maybe .
