Hi guys. My Airstreams will soon die so I wondered what to get next. I've got no problem with another pair but I'm curious about others.

It's been a while since a proper boot thread ran on here and since I read every thread, you've all had at least six more months in whatever you bought last time.

Requirements are:

1: Waterproof.

2: Not Haix.

3: Nothing else.

Do you really need Chainsaw foot "protection ?"

I just use whatever hiking boots fit my feet,or Wesco boots from America in the Summer when I am feeling like a Logger.I have never cut a foot and frankly think that anyone who has is a bit of a Bell End.

Ahh mike mike mike,Its not a need but a requirement for most company's insurance in the UK.Every company i have worked for require the standard PPE to be used /worn on site.

In the end if it stops me from hurting my self one day then yes you can call me a bell end! There you go i have taken the bait!

My pfanner zermatts seem to be doing the trick, although to warm in the summer, amazing in the winter 100% waterproof, good enough to climb in as long as your not planning on entering any comps in them.Very comfortable and good on the ground.I wouldn't mind some airstreams for summer

Got some Pfanner Zermatts . Well made boot but found them a little rigid for walking about a-la- groundy but good climbers .
