I couldn't care less about fashion, if you to wear socks with sandals for them to be comfortable then you're wearing the wrong sandals to start with, get some decent and properly fitting sandals and you'll wonder why you ever thought wearing socks in them was a good idea.

so glad we won the war against the Germans, let's face it though.....a race who accept socks and sandals as a legitimate form of footwear were always gonna be on the losing side

This thread has brought a smile to my face at many different levels. I have found here Stateside that only European men wear sox and sandals together. Yet to have seen any locals try this in public. I prefer to wear without sox, if you have the right pair from a fit stand point comfort should be a after thought. To each their own of course as long as the fashion police are not having a slow day.
