We have just won a job for a weeks work 2 horsechestnuts to dismantle we are going to get a tracked mewp in costs 700/800 for the week delivered for a 18meter not operated though

Nah just use the 18meter and take a ladder up in the basket with you and a pole chainsaw

Access is reasonably good.

I know the Teupens are expensive, has anyone had experience of working with Genies that size?

 

Genies are good hoists used a lot of diffrent ones from 40ft to 70ft, but they weigh a lot more than most, about 11 ton for one with the reach you are talking about.

Or I met these guys at the Kent County show and they had a fair big tracked machine there - Cherry Picker Hire Kent, Access Platform Hire London, Essex - who are in rochester.

forget the genie as they cut out and go into a go slow mode if not level and a 26m would be at least 18t. I use a 23m tracked hinowa 'spelling not sure' from pwm platforms but a bit far from you I think.
