He travells 3 hours a day but his gran only lives 5 mins down the road and when Simon the Bear is in he gives him a lift so he could reduce his travel down to maybe only one day per week

 

Where the hell is 1.5 hours travel from u mate?

No chance of that now! How do you get in through to someone how lucky they are to have an opportunity?!?!

He is adamant he is leaving this Friday, I even offered him my hilux as a company vehicle for when he passed his test but that made no difference :-(

 

Leave him the chance to come back if he is of value to the company, young lads often dart about a bit, & give him a call after a week for a chat, see how he is doing, & ask if he has any issues.
