Our 110 tipper , 200tdi is crap on fuel . It makes no difference whether towing or not . My L200 crew cab is mint on fuel compared to the former . I can never understand when people moan about mpg with the L200 as it knocks the socks off my 110 tipper .

Yes, but the 110 must weigh an awful lot more.

Can carry a lot more too, so less trips.

Td5 disco van racked inside and carries at least 600kg at the legal speed limit 30 mpg towing 3000kg does 25 as good as it probably gets, doubt the d4 will do that and i know the amazon won't.

I am getting about 25-27mpg out of my 300tdi hicap towing at 3500kg

 

That's very good towing that weight. I have the same vehicle and would say its more like 20 MPG towing my mini digger, I think Dartmoor hills have something to do with it:laugh1:
