Rid has all ways worked for me I get it from Auz , but sure you could find it on the web , the only day I had not use it and was eaten alive horse fly's I hate them , I went on google and found some good info on the flying butchers , don't wear dark tops is just one.

get some old sash cord soak in saltpetre overnight then let it dry then light it it burns very slowly the smell puts them off they hate it, so allways put it so the fumes come towards you well its a little it of smoke smells like rotten cabbages. or hang it not lit from your belt and that will put them off.

Avon "skin so soft" works quite well for me

 

They issue this to the sas seemed to work for us in the past. I heard on the radio the other day marmit works for some people. Once the mozzies have chewed you for a day they are not so keen on the meat after that.

Tried some "smidge" the other day, certainly works for the midges.

£6-7 for a wee can of spray, so not cheap.

 

Hi Mate

Have you tried "Mosi-Guard" works well for the midges and the cleggs.

Finished taking that church down yesterday, the clear up was a nightmare.
