Hate to sound like a copycat but I'm gonna give this a go I think :).

 

I think it's difficult not to appear to copy just about everything that can be carved has been done it's just the way it's done and the style that's different. Let us know how you get one and post some pictures please :thumbup1:

I most certainly will do :), I'm fairly new to carving so no guarantees it's gonna be very good but i really enjoy it and shall certainly be having a go. My biggest problem is getting the timber to carve :(

great work there!

as for 'having a go at that'... we all do this, we all have a look at the work of others and have a go ourselves. Its part of the learning process, to figure out how to carve things. Some stuff is original, some stuff is inspired by the work of others. I never mind when people have a go at my stuff :)
