I never used to wear gloves but i do now as i use a thinner rope. The only gloves i get on with are the pfanner stretchfine, Very thin, grippy and dexterous . Bog standard grippy gloves from builders merchants etc are too thick imo.

Same here, didn't wear gloves on 13mm rope but hands started getting trashed when I changed over to tachyon. Now I am using the thin red gloves from pfanner, they seem to give better grip on the rope than bare skin too. They do occasionally get snagged in karabiners though but I can live with that.

I wear active/power grips, used to climb without until i borrowed a pair off me mate, i found gloves somehow made me feel more secure, not that i didnt feel it before, but more so with them,

Only thing i dont like is when they are getting close to wearing out, they can get caught in my prussic, tho not a problem with spider jack
