chain oil so expensive.

It's fine Jon,myself and Matt place (we have worked together many times) and we have been using it for a few years now and never had any problems,the oil in pic was used on Saturday to take down a large oak with a 20" bar on a 372xp sweet as a nut

 

HI MARTYN thats small bar a 20" mate :thumbup1:i think i will use chain i get it cheap as chips thanks jon :thumbup:

Plantoil - Home Page give these guys a ring or look at there site used for years.

Bio-oil and keeps your chain free when not in use.

 

Good oil used it when pollarding willow along side river. And had no problem switching back to the oil I use all the time. By the way do not how makes it as it comes from my local hydraulic pipe/ oil/ fittings supplier.

Have been thinking of going on to bio chain oil for a while now after a few spilages on driveways and complaints about it and at the price buxtons are diong it will prob order a few on monday if i dont pick up any at the arb show tomorrow.

My guess is that it will wash off a lot easier than normal oil? cooking oil looks a good option when carving!
